OPERATING SCENARIO

Intended use of the WIS solution with the specified FedEx application:

	X-Cart is an eCommerce solution intended for building and operating an 
	online store.
	
	X-Cart has a module intended for providing customers wishing to
	make a purchase at the store information about the range of FedEx shipping
	methods available to them and the cost of shipping by these methods. The 
	module will use FedEx's rating function to obtain this information.

	The store administrator will be able to control the module settings 
	(Packaging type, Dropoff type, different special services) and to decide on 
	the types of data that will be included into the requests that the store 
	will send to FedEx service.

	The store will send a request to FedEx service every time a visitor of the 
	store website adds a product item to the shopping cart, modifies the 
	shopping cart or changes the address to which the order needs to be shipped.
	On checkout, the customer will select the desired shipping method from the 
	list of shipping methods that has been received from FedEx with regards to 
	that specific order. The shipping rate provided by FedEx for the selected 
	shipping method will be used to calculate the cost of shipping and the total
	cost of the order.

	The store administrator will be able to add shipping markups to rates 
	returned by FedEx (like shipping/handling charge).

	For the purpose of testing the module, the administrator will be allowed to 
	receive lists of available shipping methods and shipping rates for arbitrary
	shipping addresses via a special form in the store's Admin area.
