1. All customer's data is stored in database   Top
A customer's cart is kept in the database with all the products in it till the customer's next visit. The next time the customer logs in, he can easily find all the chosen products.

2. Greet regular visitors   Top
You can enable the option of greeting your customers by the name when he/she returns to your store.

3. Registered customers can be offered discounts   Top
You can define several kinds of discount coupons for your store. Coupons allow your customers to get a discount when their order meets certain requirements (e.g. when they order products for a sum over a certain amount, or when they order a certain product, or when they order a product that belongs to a discounted category). To get a coupon discount a customer must know a valid coupon code which he should enter into the 'Discount coupon' form at the time of making his order. X-Cart shopping cart software identifies the coupon by the code and subtracts the coupon discount amount from the order subtotal or, if a global discount is applied, from the result of the subtraction of the global discount from the subtotal.

4. Registered customers do not have to enter their data again   Top
Your customer can create a profile with all necessary information data including his/hers personal information, billing/shipping addresses and contact information in the member registration form. Next time the customer logs in, he/she does not have to enter his/hers data again. Also, unlike the anonymous customers, the registered ones have additional advantages, such as to modify and delete their profiles in the shopping cart area, to view their orders history, to add items to their wish list or create gift registries.

Registered customers can edit their personal information, billing address, shipping address and contact information (such as telephone number and email address) in their profiles.

6. Mailing list support   Top
You can set up news lists for your customers to subscribe. X-Cart allows you to have multiple news lists for one store. Any registered or unregistered customer can subscribe to all active news lists by entering his/her email.
When a customer subscribes to some news list, his/her e-mail address is automatically added to the mailing list for that news list. Besides, e-mail addresses can be added to the mailing list manually by the store admin. You has the ability to export and import files with lists of e-mail addresses. If a customer wants to discontinue his/her subscription to a news list, he can do it at any time by visiting the URL provided in each newsletter.

7. Moderated product reviews and ratings   Top
Moderated product reviews and ratings
Customers can rate the products in your store by voting and you can edit their ratings. Also you can edit customer reviews for abuse prevention purposes.
