We used to work in Travel for about 30 years, for one of the biggest Tour operators in Holland. Last years we built a new brand called Vaya.nl together with Lost Boys, with sales only through the Internet. It was very successful. The owner then decided to sell the company. In that time also shops were disappearing in the streets in Holland. Especially shops with high-end brands. Because we had a lot of experience building web-shops, we decided to start our own Warehouse on the Internet.

We like a lot of things in our store. Actually, we only add products and brands that we like ourselves and that are of good quality. The products, the brands, the honesty, the relation we have with our customers make our store specializes in the industry.

When we started we had the choice between a few platforms. But most of them did not give us a feeling of “freedom”. They work with one system and it’s not possible to change anything in the flow. For example, one system did not even give us the possibility to rank the products within a category. The other system made his own, very illogical, URL’s. We were not able to change them. And one system did not take into account the Google SEO. For us, X-Cart has it all. If something is wrong on the website, fortunately, it almost never happens, we lose money and its necessary for the builders to answer quickly and help us fix the problem.
